Here is a story of Vladimir and Irina:
“We have been married for 19 years, we have three sons. All this time we lived and served God in Ukraine, in the Donetsk region, in the city of Slavyansk. The city where the war began not in this, but in 2014.
This is the second time we are saving our children from war. In 2014, our children were small and constantly asked: “What is going on? Are we gonna die?" So, we were forced to leave our home to save ourselves. Our children had anxiety, despite their age. And I realized that their childhood had been stolen from them.
Now the situation is even worse, it is more dangerous and difficult. When on February 24 we woke up from the explosions, everyone understood that the war had started. Again. These sounds will never be forgotten. You can't confuse them with anything. We were so scared that we packed everything that we needed and left our house.
For the second time, we said goodbye to everything we loved. Our soul is there. An unexplained feeling: to leave home without knowing if you will ever come back. You cannot take everything you love. Only the most important, the most necessary. It's very, very painful. We do not want our children to hear the sounds of shelling and air raid sirens again, or to live in constant danger of air raids, bombs from the sky. The sounds of airplanes, thunderstorms and explosions of fireworks cause us to panic.”
If you have a desire to become a sponsor, let us know and we will provide the contacts of the Demodovich family.
We recommend that you go directly to the Government Portal to complete the required forms.
